Watkins Glen International — For Josie

Last week I decided to race at Watkins Glen despite the devastating loss of our family’s first dog. I spent 3 hours in a race car surrounded by my closest friends and family and this was the most potent dose of healing I could have ever experienced. Thank you Alex DelBello for capturing the significance of this weekend and attributing to the emotion and healing, thank you Jonathan Pasquarella and Alyssa Palmer for being the springboard to propel me forward. In Mahatru Krishnamurthy’s 1992 Mazda Miata, we finished 7th / 26 teams in our class and finished 30th / 108 teams overall. I ran the fastest lap among our team at a 2:24.549 seconds and, most importantly, carried the spirit of Josie’s life along with me. Enjoy your Vacation Far Away. . .
